I grew up on a cattle and sheep property in southern W.A surrounded by animals great and small, and always followed the vet around whenever they came for a visit.
After pursuing varied range of occupations and experiences for nearly 20 years, I started the adventure as a veterinarian later in life, Graduating from JCU in 2015, and have not looked back.
I enjoy all aspects of the veterinary profession, from the interactions with clients to managing the difficult cases. As a Vet, you can never say ‘You’ve seen it all’, as every day brings a new challenge.
My main interest is all things Surgical, whether it be a routine surgery or a complexed fracture repair. I am currently pursuing further studies in Surgery to continually provide the most up to date treatments available for your pet.
My other interests include, Management of the elderly patient, Ultrasonography, Emergency and Critical Care and Oncology, to name a few.
When I’m not at the clinic, I’m a keen fisherman and will be found out on the Reef wetting a line, and spending time with my Family and our two rather spoilt Afghan Hounds, Teddy and Evie, and our Macaw Yoshi.
