Russell was a founding partner of the GVC in 1980. He practiced in all animal species for many years, but now specializes in small animal practice.

His interest is in general surgery, with particular interest in orthopedics. He lives at Bullengarook, and has a love for growing grapes for his wine label “Saltwater Creek”, he also enjoys traveling to far out places. Russell has two sons Harry and Cam. Together they have, over the years, travelled to some way out places, seeking Komodo dragons in Indonesia, trekking up Mt Rinjani on Lombok and Mt Kinabulu in Borneo where they saw the rare Pygmy Elephants, Proboscis monkeys, OrangUtangs and stayed with ‘headhunters’.

You most likely have been greeted by Russell`s dog Ben if you visit the clinic-a friendly head resting on your leg welcomes you to the Clinic.

If you enjoy a cool climate Pinot then enquire about the Bullengarook grown and made ‘Saltwater Creek Wine”

Russell would sincerely thank all of the GVC `s clientale and their pets for many years of very satisfying visits and continues to enjoy the Veterinary world
