Paul has been a vet since 2003. Early in his career Paul developed a passion for surgery and after spending two years in the UK obtaining advanced training, he returned to Australia to become owner of the Kilmore and Wallan veterinary hospitals.
He holds extra qualifications in surgery having gained his Memberships from the Australian and New Zealand Veterinary College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVS) in 2009. He has also gained additional qualifications in cardiology after completing the Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) and Post Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Professional Studies (PgCert VPS).
After selling the businesses in 2018, Paul now works part-time at the Wallan Veterinary Hospital where he provides cardiology and surgical services and mentoring for the other vets. He also provides a travelling surgery and cardiology service to other nearby clinics.
Paul’s aim has always been to provide the gold standard of options for client’s pets without the need for referral to specialist centres.
Paul has two cats (Roy and Hamish) as well as a reclassified guide dog named Pluto.
