Mika was born in Sri Lanka and grew up in Perth, Western Australia. Mika always wanted to be a vet and was thrilled to complete her studies at Murdoch University in 2016. For the past two years Mika has been working at a busy rural small animal practice in South Australia. She has developed special interests in pain management in small animals and emergency and critical care.

In her spare time, Mika love to get outdoors and hike and travel. You can generally find her playing tennis or watching footy most weekends. Mika has no pets at the moment, but tries to fill the void with fostering and pet sitting.
