Kim attained her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from Murdoch University with honours in 2009. She enjoys the diversity of exciting fields that veterinary medicine offers, having done further study and work in multiple areas including internal medicine, surgery, oncology, wildlife and even porcine medicine!

These days Kim finds most fulfillment in cultivating meaningful relationships with both patients and clients, with particular interest in maximising quality of life in patients with chronic diseases, concurrent issues, geriatric or special needs in general.

She thrives in complexity, maintaining grace and aplomb even in the most challenging surgeries and cases.

Out-of-hours, Kim moonlights as an illustrator and comic artist. She lives in an old chocolate factory with two tri-coloured friends: a sassy tortoiseshell lady-cat named Pi and an introverted long-coated chihuahua named Snorri, surrounded by piles upon piles of books.
