Juan graduated with the title of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 from La Plata University, Argentina. Juan immigrated to Australia in 2002 where he has been practicing most of the time.

Juan is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Radiology Chapter). Juan is currently an active clinical radiologist providing services to private and academic institutions and pre and postgraduate teaching in veterinary diagnostic imaging at Sydney University.

Juan is actively involved in clinical and academic research. His areas of interest include small animal and equine musculoskeletal imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine. He is also passionate about the integration of novel imaging techniques and applications for the benefit of his patients. Ultimately, Juan enjoys every aspect of clinical diagnostic imaging.

He currently resides in Australia with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys all forms of sports, in particular soccer, polo and rugby union.
