Jonathon Wu is one of GVH’s veterinary surgeons, graduating from the University of Sydney in 2017. 

Initially working in shelter medicine at RSPCA, rotating between Yagoona, Broken Hill and Rutherford, he then moved to the UK for two years and worked in both first opinion practices and emergency work. 

After returning back to Australia, he started doing casual work with GVH and has been here for almost three years. 

His professional interests include ultrasonography, emergency medicine, surgery and dermatology. 

Jonathon lives with his partner and their two adopted stray cats: Donnie and Elfie. Donnie was adopted via Animal Welfare League and Elfie was a kitten brought into the vet clinic found in a Woolworth’s car park. 

Interests outside of work include: cinema, all types of sports but in particular futsal and bouldering, and travelling.
