Dr AJ graduated from Charles Sturt University (Wagga Wagga) in 2019. She originally trained as an ecologist but was always destined to be a vet.

AJ has been involved in the horse industry across a wide range of roles and disciplines for many years. She has worked as a groom, stablehand, jillaroo, stud manager, horse breaker and now equine veterinarian.

AJ enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary work. Her special interests are lameness, diagnostic imaging, wound management and dentistry.

AJ also runs a purpose-built equestrian centre in Murrumbateman NSW.

She enjoys showjumping in her spare time and believes that the ACT showjumping club has the friendliest, most inclusive membership in the whole country. She has three OTTBs actively in work and a very spoilt retiree called “Miss Muppet”.

She looks forward to meeting you and your horse and introducing her beloved corgi Foxy Cleopatra.
