Keep your cat happy and chilled with these easy homemade treats. Made with salmon, sweet potato, and other cat-safe ingredients, these frozen salmon and sweet potato treats are perfect for hot days or a little reward anytime!

Ingredients

  • 1 tin of salmon
  • 1 ½ cups mashed sweet potato
  • 1 ½ cups oats
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the salmon and sweet potato. Use two forks to gently break apart any large salmon chunks while mixing everything together.
  • In a food processor, pulse the oats and parsley until finely ground. Add the mixture to the bowl with the salmon and sweet potato.
  • Fold all ingredients together until well combined, then spoon the mixture into a silicone fish-shaped mold.
  • Freeze for 2–3 hours or until fully set. Once frozen, pop out the treats and serve to your pup as a cool, tasty snack!

This recipe makes 12 treats.
