Dr. Armin Yarand
Took our ridgeback Ruby in yesterday after her face started swelling up from an insect bite. Everyone treated us so kindly and professionally, from reception, triage nurse and vet. I thought we'd be up for a huge bill but only $225 which included two injections. If only human hospitals were run this well!
I rate North Shore Vet very highly for general veterinary services (vaccinations etc) as well as for emergency services. I have unfortunately had to bring my dog in for a couple of emergencies and I have received great advice and treatment each time. The staff are caring and informative. I appreciate that they call when they say they will and provide regular updates in the event of an overnight stay. The on-site puppy pre-school is also fantastic and helps to foster a positive association with the clinic.
I had to take my cat here on a Sunday night as my local emergency vet was at capacity. I wish I lived in the area! Everyone was great. The front of house staff was friendly, helpful and efficient and the nurse and vet were wonderful. The vet was the loveliest I've ever come across - so kind, reassuring and just such a great manner - very calming for both me and my cat!
