DVS, Dip ACVECC, ECC

Dr Melissa Claus (DVM, Dip ACVECC) is a Registered Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) and was previously a lecturer in ECC at Murdoch University. Melissa graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 and completed her internship at the University of Pennsylvania and ECC residency at the University of California Davis. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2010. Her clinical interests include transfusion medicine, electrolyte abnormalities, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and extracorporeal organ support.

Dr Melissa leads our ECC unit and her depth of experience in challenging cases has already seen her team produce some miraculous results for our patients and owners.
