BSc DVM MANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine)

Dr. Abigail Brough joined Peninsula Vet Emergency and Referral Hospital (ERH) in 2019 as a Small Animal Medicine Resident. She has since completed all of her training requirements and is now working as a registrar in internal medicine.

After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2014, Abi completed two rotating internships; first at Queensland Veterinary Specialists in2015, followed by and Melbourne Vet Clinic in 2016. She continued in a medicine internship in 2017 and started a residency in Small Animal Medicine in 2018.

Her special interests include:

• The diagnostic challenge of all aspects of internal medicine
• The workup and treatment of atypical infectious disease.

Her pet family includes two Domestic Shorthair cats – Mintie and Yeti. She grew up riding horses and still enjoys horse riding when she goes back to visit family in Tasmania.
