Ginnie qualified from the University of Liverpool, UK, in 2012 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Medicine. After some years working in small animal practice she studied for and achieved a Post Graduate Certificate in small animal surgery with the European School of Postgraduate Studies. This qualification has allowed Ginnie to expand her interest in surgery and perform more complex and referral level procedures. In addition to surgery Ginnie has a special interest in dermatology and small exotic mammals like rabbits, guinea pigs and rats.
Ginnie moved to New Zealand with her family in 2021 and has enjoyed settling into the beautiful Tauranga area and at Barkes Corner in particular. Away from work she enjoys swimming, walking and exploring the country.
