Introducing Dr Christine Cole, a skilled and compassionate veterinarian with an impressive career spanning over 37 years. Christine graduated from the University of Sydney in 1987 and has dedicated her life to animal care ever since, beginning with her first job at 16. Her extensive background includes work with shelters like RSPCA, SPCA-Fiji, and SDCH, where she nurtured her belief that animal companionship is one of life’s greatest blessings. Even after nearly four decades in veterinary practice, Christine finds her work as engaging and rewarding as ever.
Christine’s role at the clinic is primarily surgical, with a strong passion for dentistry. She’s especially touched when clients stop by to share how well their pets are doing after treatment—a reminder of the meaningful impact she has on both animals and their owners. The joy she finds in improving pets’ quality of life and seeing owners delighted by their pets’ comfort drives her dedication to veterinary medicine.
Her main areas of interest are animal welfare and soft tissue surgery, with a deep expertise in dentistry. Christine encourages pet owners to start dental care early, avoid hard bones to prevent tooth fractures, and schedule regular checkups to support lifelong health.
Outside of work, Christine shares her home with two beloved dogs and two cats, though she’s cared for up to four of each at one time! At the clinic, she enjoys the energy of a busy practice, where every day brings new challenges and excitement.
