What I love about being a Vet is the sense of community, I like to feel that I can make a difference to  pets and their owner’s quality of life.

I joined Gladesville Vet Hospital in Jan 2023 as Lead Vet, and feel privileged to work with such an amazing and experienced team

I graduated in 1994 from Bristol University and have 30 years’ experience as a Companion animal Vet in both the UK and for the last 18 years in Australia, in and around the Northern Beaches

I have an interest in Emergency and critical care, Veterinary dentistry, oral and facial surgery, Dermatology , Rabbit medicine and surgery , Nuclear Medicine, Wildlife treatment ,  Customer care and Practice management.

I am passionate about delivering quality and caring patient care and will strive to ensure that all the team at GVH work hard to deliver the care you and your pet expect and deserve

At home I have 2 boys (who are keen musicians) , a collection of chickens and stray birds , am an “Aunty” for Ms. Coco , a 17-year-old Chihuahua, who sometimes likes to come to the clinic with me. We have just welcomed Pumpkin a young adult cat ( one of our recent strays ) into our family and she is settling in nicely.

I enjoy spending my spare time with my boys at the beach, in nature or out on the water. I’m a qualified Yoga teacher and have recently taken up short track ice racing (ice speed skating ). In 2023 I started to compete as a “Master” in National and state competitions, my personal goal this year is to meet the  qualifying times for the Master World Games 2025 – love to keep active and moving !

I look forward to getting to know you and your pets very soon at Gladesville Vet Hospital
