Rachel grew up in Leicestershire in the UK and moved to Perth in 1996. Before studying to be a veterinarian, Rachel worked as vet nurse which is where her passion for animal health began.

Rachel qualified as a vet in 2009 and joined the Foothills family in 2016.  She also co-owns and runs a behaviour and training company, Dogs United Training Academy which provides training for puppies, adolescent, and adult dogs.  In addition to training, she also offers veterinary behaviour consults for pets who are struggling with fear and anxiety, she is passionate about helping people create a positive connection with their dogs.

With her partner she shares her home with a family of working border collies and participates in multiple performance sports including agility, scent work, sheep herding and trick training. 

Rachel has lots of medical knowledge under her belt and is a wonderful addition to the Foothills team.
