Gemma recently graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2022, who then joined the Whitehorse team in 2023 as a new graduate veterinarian. She was born and raised in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and developed a passion for veterinary medicine at an early age, growing up with a particular love of cats as well as guinea pigs throughout her childhood.
In clinic, Gemma enjoys getting to know and spending time with each one of her loved and valued patients.

Being new to the field, Gemma is interested in anything and everything! Currently, Gemma has a particular interest in behaviour and figuring out why pets act the way they do.
Gemma shares her home with a 6 year old Domestic Medium Hair cat named Petrie, who loves pretending that she doesn’t exist.
In her spare time, Gemma likes to spend time with her beloved cat Petrie, going to the cinemas, making DIY crafts and spending time exploring different foods and cuisines with her friends.
