Eric grew up in Melbourne where he developed a passion for science and medicine. The love for his childhood pets put him on a career path that enabled him to help animals in need. He completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne in 2015 focussing his studies on pharmacology, physiology, and anatomy. He graduated the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine while concurrently completing a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Professional Leadership and Management in 2019 at the University of Melbourne with an awarded scholarship. His career started with a busy rotating internship in a multi-disciplinary hospital in Queensland graduating in 2021, working under the guidance of specialists, followed by a short period of mentoring new interns. He has a keen interest in an array of veterinary fields, primarily emergency and critical care, however, he also shares interests in internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, cardiology, and neurology.
