BVSc. (Hons) MVetMed MANZCVS (Surgery) Dip. ECVS MRCVS
Ben completed his degree in Veterinary Science at Melbourne University in 2010 before he worked as a mixed animal vet in rural Australia for 2 years prior to moving to the UK to begin his path to specialisation. Ben completed his Masters in Veterinary Medicine as well as his residency training in 2019 at the Royal Veterinary College in London. He also worked there as a lecturer in Small Animal Surgery.
Ben’s passion is in soft tissue surgery which has given him a tremendous amount of experience with some extremely complex cases. Ben is enthusiastic about performing BOAS surgery to help breeds who suffer with Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome most commonly seen in French bulldogs, British Bulldogs, Boston terriers, Pugs and Pekingese. Surgical options such as shortening the soft palate, widening the nostrils, and removing the laryngeal saccules can dramatically improve the health and quality of life for such breeds.
